You are welcome to the official website of Idi – Ape Baptist Church, Ejigbo, Osun State, Nigeria in the name of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is a group of people that believe in the saving grace of Christ. As Baptist, we believe in Christ Jesus as the Saviour and the Lord of the Church and approach the father in prayer in the name of the Son, Jesus Christ, through the help of the Holy Spirit, who help us to know the mind of God and pray accordingly.
We believe in the Bible as the word of God and know that we must live in accordance with the teachings therein. This we do with the consciousness that the instructions we follow determine the future we create. This we affirm by living according to His word in order to create a better and promising future.
Our worship is dynamic in nature and not rigid. We understand it is a means by which believers can grow, hence we give it the needed attention and thus worship Him in truth and in Spirit.
Evangelism is the assignment given to the church. To fulfill this in agreement with the instruction in Mathew, we focus much on discipleship since this is the Biblical method. We see all members as members of the body of God. This is not by birth or by name but through genuine repentance that is reflected in the way we live our life. Christianity is not a religion but a way of life, this we affirm as a Church.
As you browse through this website, please, be informed that you can partner with the Church as we try to reach out to others through the various ministry opportunities of the church such as; Widows’ group, Singles fellowship, Couples’ fellowship and the Television Evangelistic program.
The church has a Primary School as well as a Christian Secondary School as part of our own way to contribute towards building leaders with integrity, who can affect the society positively.
To know more about the Church, you can access the various ministry organs of the Church and the Historical Section.
The weekly programs are ministry opportunities that you are welcome to attend.

|It Doesn’t Matter!|
“He had dropped out of the public mind for forty years, and they didn’t know what had become of him, but God had His eye upon him. He was the very man of all others that God wanted, and when he met God with that question, “Who am I?” It didn’t matter who he was but who his God was.”
